I recently saw that it’s baby Callum’s first birthday, which made me realize it’s been a full year since his newborn session and I still haven’t blogged it…time really does pass too quickly. As home renovations wind down & I near the end of my final wedding season, I’m finding myself with loads more down-time to catch up on sharing work here, both old & new.

Although this shoot was quite a while ago and baby Callum is basically a full grown man now, his newborn sesh was one of my faves and I needed to share. It was a perfectly overcast morning to document this dude’s first trip to the ocean. We laid him on a surfboard in the same South Florida sand where I photographed his mom & dad tying the knot not too long before. After family sunrise beach snuggles, we headed home for some laid-back lifestyle photos. Filled with yawns & natural sunshine pouring in, we created some sweet images that capture how so many of Callum’s first days earth-side will be spent.
